Who is responsible
The site is run by Mateusz Kornaś, in Poland, who is the controller of the little data it handles. Write to [email protected] about anything on this page.
What happens when you open a page
The site is a set of static files served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare sees the request: your IP address, the page asked for and your browser’s user agent, which it uses to deliver the page and to keep the service safe. The site has no accounts, no forms and no server of its own.
The cookie banner
The banner is AZ Widgets, a consent tool made by the same author. It keeps your choice in your browser’s local storage, together with a random identifier of the consent itself, so that the choice can be shown to have been made. It also counts page views without cookies: no identifier is stored on your device, and the visitor figure comes from a hash that is made on the server and changes every day.
Google Analytics, only with your consent
If you allow statistics, the site loads Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read and where visitors come from. Google sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*, kept for up to two years) and processes the data on the author’s behalf, which can include transfer to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Until you give it, the Google script is not loaded at all. There is no advertising and no marketing tracking on the site.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent at any time with the button above; it is as easy as giving it. Under the GDPR you may also ask for access to your data, for its correction or erasure, and you may complain to a supervisory authority, in Poland the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
The apps have their own policies
Nothing on this page applies to the apps. They run on your own machine and do not report to the author. Privacy policy for mk-drive.
